NFAST has discovered that many of the teachers and pre-school teachers from the local and rural communities in the South Africa who work with children do not have any form of first aid training at all.
They are located at schools and pre-schools which take long for ambulances to arrive which could result in children dying if they are faced with a medical emergency. With the necessary first aid training the teachers could help not only the kids but any other person in the community that is faced with a medical emergency.
What we as NFAST would like to do with the assistance of the South African Community and Business Community is try and give these teachers free training in First aid Level 1 and 2. How we plan to do this is as follows: For every 5 staff members that a company sends for training with us or every 5 private individuals that enrols for a course with us in the next 3 months we will sponsor a teacher for free training, thus the more people that enrol for a first aid course with us the more teachers we can train.
May of these schools also require sponsorship for first aid kits etc. if you are able to assist in any way please contact us.
Training Provided by NFAST (National First Aid and Safety Training) is approved and recognised by the Department Of Labour, and meets the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
We appreciate any assistance
